Otherwise, for me it was important to adapt a body language that wasn't very girly because Bitti is a tomboy - a little carefree and not bothered about what she's wearing. Now awaiting the release of her upcoming film Bareilly Ki Barfi, the actress chats about the ups and downs of Bollywood and how she's a simple girl under the polish. Still, there's not even the slightest sign of fatigue on her face as she sits down and sips her coffee for the Nth interview on a rainy evening.
What are the things you keep in mind when you take up a project?
I'm not very fond of reading books, so no. That's something I feel the audiences really will like. So, in the run up to the film's release, Firstpost got Sanon and Khurrana to belt songs from their film while on the road.
Further, when we asked him as to what were his thoughts on the day he got married to his ladylove, Tahira Kashyap, he said he couldn't stop thinking about how everything had turned out to be so flawless. Aww! It's not been (the case) till now but it might be.
How important it is for you to know who your co-star is? Does it matter at all?
Bareilly Ki Barfi is making all the right noise because of its unique content. The USP of these sweet boxes were that the candies were termed as the film's name itself 'Bareilly Ki Barfi'. I think they come from a similar school, from what I could gauge. I told them I would record their conversation which they were OK with. "It's like two different worlds coexisting together", he adds, an ironic insight that also describes his role in the film. It surprises a lot of people though.

Robert Neller wrote on Twitter Tuesday evening that there is "no place for racial hatred or extremism" in the Marines. David Goldfein appeared on Capitol Hill in September to testify before the Senate Armed Services Committee.
Both the actors share a very good bond on screen and off screen.
Your character Bitti does break dance in the film, did you go through any training for that? And if you don't agree with what I am saying, then I'd suggest you watch this video. When I came back, I was listening to that conversation for a week to pick up the way they speak, their manner and their dialect. Sanon, on the other hand, enjoyed dancing to Govinda's songs to celebrate the birthday of the elderly man who owns Bitti's house in Lucknow. It is the song that comes a little initially in the film.
My father has a sweet meat shop in the small town of Bareilly in the film, and the character that I play has quite a sweet tooth. For the uninitiated, Bareily Ki Barfi is a story of a small town girl, Bitti (Kriti) who is the life of every social gathering and loves to dream big. The film is Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari's second film as a director.
It was fantastic. I think both of them are very talented, spontaneous and collaborative as actors.
If you were to play one of the guys in the film, who would you choose to play and why? Ayushmann's character Chirag Dubey owns a printing press and Rajkummar as Pritam Vidrohi is a saree vendor. The film's cast comprises of talented actors and we can definitely say that the film is backed by a national award winning team. "It was nearly like preparing for two different characters", he says.
What after Bareilly Ki Barfi?
There is a film that I have said yes to.
