In an Instagram post of her own, Lauren adds, "Only Jesus got me through that" - but also that Ada "is sooo worth it". "Thank you Lord and everyone for the prayers". Thank y'all for your prayers-she is a miracle and God is so good.
Rhett goes on to reveal that Lauren labored for a little more than 36 hours, with the impressed father writing, "She is by far the strongest human being I have ever met and I have a new found respect for moms around the world".

The family's latest bundle of joy comes several months after the couple adopted 21-month-old Willa Gray from Uganda in May after meeting the tot through the organization 147 Million Orphans. In his post on Instagram, Rhett shares that Lauren was in labor for nearly 36 hours.

The singer and his wife announced they were expecting two babies in February, adopting one from Africa and expecting another biologically. "Yes, I'm bouncing on a birth ball trying to coax my baby out", she said on her Instagram story. The GRAMMY nominee later told ET's Sophie Schillaci that he planned to make any and all adjustments necessary to be able to take his family on tour.
The singer added that he made sure to stock up on sleep in anticipation of the couple's new arrival. "I was like, 'Maybe this is the Lord's way of telling me adoption is what he wants me to do.' And I was okay with that..." We are all doing well now, just resting. "It will be fun to see how they act and see what kind of inspiration I get from them".
As for having two girls?
"Before we even started wanting to have kids, I wanted girls".
"I've written a couple songs that just talk about the severe shock of knowing that you're adopting a child and then you find out that you're pregnant", Rhett said at a recent media event.
