Marvel head of television Jeph Loeb defended the studio's upcoming series "Inhumans" Sunday at the Television Critics Association press tour against assertions that the show's premiere episode does not match the quality of previous Marvel efforts.
Among the complaints was the observation that the abilities of Ken Leung's character Karnak were not clear, and that the look of the show did not merit a planned IMAX release.
"I can tell you that it was written on the material that you were given that the show that you have seen is not the finished product", Loeb said when asked whether the series had turned out as he had hoped it. "This is still a work in progress..." It moves separately from Medusa's body and can be used like additional limbs.
"So if you're asking me whether or not it was done, it's not".
The legendary comic book series will be brought to life in a way that has never been done before, as a version of the first two episodes will be shown globally in IMAX theatres for a two-week period, beginning September 1, 2017.
National Trust in u-turn in row over gay pride badges
The National Trust said its campaign was a matter of "exploring our LGBTQ heritage" as part of its Prejudice and Pride campaign. Mike Homes, 72, a volunteer for 13 years said: 'Wymondham-Cremer would have turned in his grave to know what's happening.
The good news is it is learned that Marvel's Agents of SHIELD Season 5 will begin airing immediately following the end of the 8-episode run of Inhumans.
Central to the confusion about the show is the character Medusa (Serinda Swan), who in the comics is known for a fiery mane of red hair that is, well, sentient. According to Variety, the executive producer said that the show which the press was given is not the complete first episode, because they are not done working on the series and that episode in particular. "If we only did things that were flawless, we would never start, and so it's a really phenomenal start", she said.
"We are still a month away from final air, but I do feel like there's great opportunity there", she said.
