Wisconsin, Notre Dame football agree to series at Lambeau, Soldier Field

Done deal: Notre Dame, Wisconsin will clash at Soldier and Lambeau fields

With officials from the Bears and Packers also in attendance, it's expected the Irish and Badgers will announce a 2-game series with one game being played at Soldier Field and the other at Lambeau Field. The following year, they will battle at Soldier Field in Chicago.

A press conference on Monday, August 14, has been announced by officials from Wisconsin and Notre Dame. The Irish have been affiliated with Under Armour for quite some time, while the Badgers are fresh off their first season with the brand after changing over from Adidas.

Including the two matchups with Wisconsin, Notre Dame will play seven games against Big Ten teams through 2021.

Both teams have recent history in National Football League stadiums.

North Korea: No imminent threat of nuclear war, says Central Intelligence Agency chief
Trump warned last week that North Korea would be met with "fire and fury" if it continued to threaten his country. He said he doesn't think the closer to war than a week ago, but closer to war than a decade ago.

This will mark the first time Notre Dame and Wisconsin will meet on the football field in over 50 years, with the last matchup occurring in 1964.

Wisconsin last played at Soldier Field in 2011, beating Northern Illinois behind quarterback Russell Wilson.

Notre Dame is now hoping to have a bounceback season after they went 4-8 in the 2016 campaign.

Meanwhile, Wisconsin is coming off an 11-3 season, which included a win over Western Michigan in the Cotton Bowl.
