A part of Peele's overall TV development deal, The Hunt serves as the Get Out director's first project for the deal.
The series follows a band of Nazi hunters in the 1970s as they set out on to kill hundreds of Nazis who, with the help of the US government, escaped justice and embedded themselves into American society, according to TheJasmineBrand. Reportedly, various streaming services and cable networks are already interested in the series.
The Hunt, inspired by true events, is set to follow the story of "a diverse band of Nazi hunters in 1970s America as they set out on a quest for revenge and justice", the site reports. David Weil is on board to pen the script and exec produce alongside Peele.
Liverpool fans struggle to contain themselves over Andrew Robertson's performance against Leicester
Liverpool must bounce back from their hard fortnight when they take on Leicester again in the Premier League on Saturday. It extended their winless run to four matches, a period during which Klopp's men have conceded 10 goals.
Peele's Monkeypaw Productions and Sonar Entertainment are producing, with Peele serving as executive producer. Following the massive success of his directorial debut Get Out, which is still the most profitable film of the year, Peele is now serving in a godfather-type role for new and interesting TV projects.
Peele starred alongside Keegan Michael-Key in Key and Peele for five seasons, and also recently appeared on FX's Fargo.
