The Bengals put tight end Tyler Eifert on injured reserve Thursday after he underwent surgery to fix a disc in his back and he's not expected to return this season.
ESPN's Adam Schefter and Field Yates reported Eifert is deciding whether or not to have back surgery for the third time, which would end his season.
The 27-year-old Eifert was selected to the Pro Bowl after reeling in 13 touchdown passes during the 2015 season.
