Authorities are searching for an 8-year-old boy and a person of interest in a triple murder.
According to the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department, 8-year-old Devin Holston lived at a home in the 15000 block of State Route 93 in Pedro where three adults were found shot to death at about 7pm, Wednesday. Authorities searched the area, but he wasn't found. Deputies said the victim had stab wounds to the neck and head.
Although it is not an Amber Alert, police believe the child is in danger.
A search of the woods near the scene was conducted and Devin was not found. Devin has been entered into NCIC as a missing endangered child.
The Sheriff's Office says they are looking for 23-year-old Aaron Lawson, who ran into woods after crashing a pickup truck during a pursuit by deputies early Thursday. He was pursued by deputies after being spotted at about 12:30 a.m. on State Route 141 near County Road 52. Police officers from all village agencies, the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the Ashland KY Police, and the Huntington Police K9 unit assisted in the search for Lawson but he was able to evade capture in the darkness.Читайте также: West reawakens as Apple gets green light to build Athenry data centre
"The boy is described as 4'8" tall and weighs 80 pounds.
"Lawson is described as being 5'9" tall and weighing 139 pounds.
No names of any of the victims have been released due to police trying to notify relatives.
