A 31-year-old woman was allegedly threatened with gangrape over her mobile phone by a caller, who claimed himself to be the bodyguard of Bollywood actor Salman Khan at Bandra here, police said today.

After the FIR has been lodged, the matter has been booked under section 509 of the Indian Penal Code (Word, gesture or act meant to insult the modesty of a woman) and police claimed that they started probing the matter.

Police have also begun the probe. Whereas, Salman's bodyguard has denied all allegations made against him and said that she is lying as he has never interacted to any Shabnam in his life. The man said that he was Salman Khan's bodyguard "Shera". According to reports in Indian Express, Shabnam has refused to settle the case and added that she will file a case against Endemol, Colors, Bigg Boss and Salman Khan.
