Legendary Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has revealed that he intends to bring an end to his playing career at the end of the United Soccer League season.

"At some point you have to stop".

"I need time for my other projects".

Microsoft Black Friday 2017 Deals Announced
The Microsoft Store's Black Friday deals preview just went live and it includes the best price yet on an Xbox One S. As we mentioned earlier, the Xbox One S is getting a huge discount.

Now a co-owner at Phoenix Rising, Drogba's "other projects" are thought to refer to him producing another MLS franchise. Much like David Beckham is attempting in Miami. "It's good to play, but at 39 [age] holds me back a bit".

Drogba the president or coach?

The Ivorian now plays with Phoenix Rising FC in the United Soccer League.

In total he played 381 times for the Blues, scoring 164 times; Drogba also won the Premier League on four occasions, the FA Cup four times and netted the winning penalty when Chelsea beat Bayern Munich to win the UEFA Champions League.

He proved that he still had that natural killer instinct in front of goal by netting 10 goals in 14 appearances before Rising were knocked out of the play-offs by Swope Park Rangers.
