Melissa Gilbert: Oliver Stone sexually harassed me at movie audition

Melissa Gilbert Second Woman to Accuse Oliver Stone of Sexual Harassment

Melissa Gilbert Claims Oliver Stone Sexually Harassed Her During Audition as Revenge

Actress Melissa Gilbert told Andy Cohen on Monday that Oliver Stone sexually harassed her during her audition for his 1991 film The Doors.

Gilbert, who was 27 at the time, says she refused to perform the scene and left crying.

Critically-acclaimed director Oliver Stone has been accused by yet another woman of sexual harassment.

Actress Melissa Gilbert, known for having played Laura Ingalls on the series little house on the prairie comes to reveal that she, too, was a victim of the inappropriate behavior of a developer.

While actors usually only read lines in auditions, Gilbert says that Stone wanted her to physically act out the compromising scene. She believes Stone set up the audition for the sole objective of retaliation because she once said something about Stone "that embarrassed him publicly". "I had auditioned, and then he said: 'I've written this special scene for you".

Gilbert alleged that Stone did it to get back at her for saying something disparaging about him in public. Actress Patricia Arquette said on Twitter that she was creeped out by Stone when he tried to recruit her for a film and cornered her when she brought her boyfriend to a screening of "Natural Born Killers".

The breach took place under the former chief executive, Travis Kalanick, who found out about it in November 2016. Uber this week fired its chief security officer and one of his deputies for hiding the attack.

"Oliver spied me standing nearby and just reached out, and instead of doing what a normal person does and shaking my hand, he just groped my boob and honked it like a horn and grinned and kept walking", she told The Hollywood Reporter in October.

These allegations against Stone are not the first. "Then he said, 'I'd like you to stage it for me'".

Representatives for Stone didn't immediately respond to INSIDER's request for comment.

'Oliver stopped me coming out of the bathroom.

Last month, after Stone issued a statement in support of Harvey Weinstein, a Playboy playmate accused Stone of once honking her breasts "like a horn". "It was all because I had said something and embarrassed him publicly". "Think about THAT Oliver,"' she tweeted about the incident. "Anyway never heard about the movie again & didn't care to".
