The bracket for the NCAA Men's Soccer Tournament was released on Monday, with UNC earning the No. 3 overall seed after a fantastic regular season which saw the Tar Heels win the ACC Coastal Division. Virginia will host Fordham or St. Francis (N.Y.) in the second round at 5 p.m. Sunday. The Virginia Tech-Air Force game will be played this Thursday at a time that is yet to be determined. The Badgers will be making their first NCAA appearance since 2013.

Omaha advanced to the NCAA Tournament with a Summit League Tournament championship over the weekend. The Irish are a combined 4-5-2 (.455) against fellow NCAA Championship competitors this season, including a 2-0-2 mark in matches played at Alumni Stadium.

Three more teams from the commonwealth are in the field.

Four other Big Ten teams also made the tournament: the 15-0-5 Indiana Hoosiers, 12-5-2 Michigan Wolverines, 10-5-3 Maryland Terrapins and the Big Ten Tournament champion 10-4-5 Wisconsin Badgers. The 2017 NCAA College Cup will be contested on December 8 (national semifinals) and December 10 (national final) at Talen Energy Stadium in Philadelphia, live on ESPN2.
