Blizzard has finally confirmed that they will be adding 4K resolution support for the Xbox One X. Hot on the heels of all the announcements made during Blizzcon, and with great sales so far for the Xbox One, it only makes sense to utilize the power of this brand new machine.
The Xbox One X launched to impressively strong sales in the United Kingdom last week, and has apparently caught the attention of a fair few developers now it's out in the wild.
It'd be a real shame for one of the most popular games of the last few years not to make use of all the power inside the Xbox One X, and so it's great to hear that Blizzard are hard at work on an update to bring 4K to the platform. More details will be shared about the plans for 4K support on Xbox One X sometime in the near future but fans can get excited knowing that it's on its way. If Blizzard can also implement HDR at some point down the line, Overwatch will look stunning on Xbox One X with its vibrant and vivid colors.
