The actor, who had a history of drug use and charges of battery against women, was dropped by his management firm and agency shortly afterward. The girl portrayed the daughter of Sizemore's character in photos used for the production. The report stated that Sizemore was told to leave the film set of the movie Born Killers after an 11-year-old actress told her mother that Sizemore allegedly touched her genitals. Production manager Cassidy Lunnen recalls that "the girl was so young it was unclear to her and [later] her parents what had actually taken place and if it was intentional or not".
"At one point her eyes got just huge, like she could've vomited", Adamson said.
The girl's mother noticed her daughter was being unusually quiet the next day, and the girl revealed the alleged inappropriate touching when she put on a bathing suit to go swimming, as she said the suit felt similar to Sizemore's fingers.

Producers told THR that the actor's alleged behavior against the young girl happened during lengthy portrait sessions in Utah for the $5 million film.
