ACTRESS Rose McGowan has been arrested over alleged drug possession after handing herself in to police.
According to Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police, they obtained the warrant for McGowan on February 1 after an investigation of personal belongings left behind on a United flight arriving at Dulles International Airport on January 20 tested positive for narcotics.
On Tuesday, McGowan appeared in Loudoun County, Virginia, to accept service of the Airports Authority Police arrest warrant. She was released on $5,000 bond.
The fact there was a warrant out for the star's arrest surfaced after the actress brought it upon social media in October.
McGowan turned herself in in Loudoun County, Virginia, and was served with the arrest warrant.

One executive who was ousted was about a woman who was raped during an Uber ride in India. In June, Uber's board of directors forced CEO Travis Kalanick to resign.
After apparently learning about the charge last month, McGowan, whose name has hit the headlines with the onslaught on Weinstein coverage, tweeted: "Are they trying to silence me?"
McGowan has been one of the leading voices against sexual harassment in Hollywood.
McGowan is one of dozens of women who accused film producer Harvey Weinstein of sexual misconduct. "What a load of HORSES***". On Twitter, McGowan has amassed supporters and urged them to call out harassment using the #RoseArmy hashtag.
McGowan is best-known for her role as Paige Matthews in the WB supernatural drama Charmed, between 2001 and 2006.
