Veteran actor and comedian Rowan Atkinson, famous for his portrayal of Mr Bean in the sitcom of the same name, movies based on the character and also an animated series, is set to become a father for the third time at the age of 62.

It is the first child for the British comedian and his girlfriend, actress Lousie Ford, 33, British papers reported.

The couple have been together for three years and are said to be delighted and excited about the news.

The news spread when Ford was recently spotted shopping in London.

In an interesting development, Lily ditched the name of her father and adopted her mother's maiden name as her surname.

Atkinson's agent has so far not responded to requests for comment.
