Because she's busy selling a million albums.

Taylor Swift's new album "Reputation" has sold more than one million copies in its first five days, Nielsen Music said on Tuesday, but the US pop star failed to beat the record set by Britain's Adele two years ago.

Now, the numbers are getting even more wild: As Billboard notes, initial sales reports say that Reputation has sold 1.05 million copies in the USA in just its first four days of release.

Swift, 27, recording on Nashville-based independent label Big Machine Records, now has four albums that have sold more than one million copies in their first week - "1989", "Red", and "Speak Now". Her latest album Reputation is full of songs that are about, depending on the track and what theory you believe, Kanye West, Calvin Harris, Tom Hiddleston, and Joe Alwyn.

This mega-success comes as a bit of a shock after Swift's first singles from Reputation were panned by critics. Swift went on to meet each and every fan, speaking with them and taking pictures. Her Instagram account now features two lines of images showing positive comments from reviewers all written in that recognizable Reputation gothic print.
