Three properties of underworld don and main accused in the 1993 serial bomb blasts Dawood Ibrahim will be auctioned on Tuesday by the Ministry of Finance, under the Smugglers and Foreign Exchange Manipulators (SAFEMA) Forfeiture of Properties Act. Rounaq Afroz restaurant, also known as Delhi Zaika, was sold for Rs 4.53 crore. This is the second time in nearly two years the ministry is trying to auction Dawood Ibrahim's properites which include Hotel Raounaq Afroz-also known as Delhi Zaika- and two residential premises, Shabnam guest house and six rooms in Damarwala builidng, located on the Pakmodia street. The Damarwala property was bagged for Rs 3.53 crore and the Shabnam guest house fetched Rs 3.52 crore.

Chakrapani had also expressed his eagerness to acquire the Rounaq Afroz - to build a public toilet in the area under the Prime Minister's Swachh Bharat Mission.
