England XI will play a two-day warm up game against Cricket Australia XI in Perth this weekend.

Joining Moeen for the tour game will be the four members of the Test squad who are yet to feature in the Ashes - Gary Ballance, wicketkeeper Ben Foakes, Mason Crane, Tom Curran - along with Jake Ball.

Left-hander Duckett has now been suspended and is facing a disciplinary investigation.

Duckett has played four Tests for England, and is now in Australia as part of the England Lions squad. The England team's security was present when the incident took place, and the police was not summoned.

It comes after wicketkeeper Jonny Bairstow was involved in a weird headbutt incident with Australia batsman Cameron Bancroft prior to the Ashes.

He was made unavailable for selection by the England and Wales Cricket Board as he awaits the results of a police investigation, although is now playing domestic cricket in New Zealand.

Besides disallowing Friday prayers at Jamia Masjid Srinagar , the authorities placed Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq under house confinement.

Stokes may yet be brought into the England side at some point in the series.

The Englishman has continually reiterated there was no malice in the incident, while Bancroft has since played down the meeting.

It is understood the issue arose between Thursday night and Friday morning, the first evening after England and Wales Cricket Board director Andrew Strauss agreed to a relaxing of a midnight curfew on the touring party which was imposed two weeks ago.

"We need to sharpen up our act", said Strauss in November.

"The last thing any of us want is to be in the news for the wrong reasons and I will be reminding the players of their obligations".
