The Winter Siege event kicks off on Friday, Dec. 8, and Sledgehammer Games is stuffing players' stockings with tons of in-game presents. This limited time mode is available in a 2XP playlist from 12/15 to 12/21, and as part of the Winter Carentan moshpit playlist from 12/29 to 1/2.

The "new" mode that will be introduced to the game is really an old favorite. It will be one of the titles in the Double XP playlist during Winter Siege.

Call of Duty: WWII is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Instead, players can unlock a free variant of each weapon through Special Orders from Major Howard. Running from December 8 to January 2, 2018, this month will bring forth a bunch of free goodies to all players, extended map opportunities and other ways to earn in-game content. Players can also purchase Winter Siege Supply Drops using Call of Duty Points in-game currency.
