Singer John Mayer hospitalized for emergency appendectomy

Dead & Company postponed their show Tuesday night in New Orleans after band member John Mayer was hospitalized for an emergency appendectomy.

Mayer's illness cancelled the Dead & Company show scheduled for the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans on Tuesday Dec. 5. 'All tickets for the December 5 show will be honored for the rescheduled date.

The 40-year-old singer went to hospital yesterday (December 5th 2017) to have his appendix removed following a presumed bout of appendicitis.

Repeated attempts to reach Ms McFarland, who left her post as deputy national security adviser in May, were unsuccessful. Flynn then briefed senior transition team members about his discussions with Mr Kislyak, the records show.

The ailment was apparently unexpected, as 11 hours before Dead & Company posted their statement, Mayer was tweeting about, of all things, copyediting.

Ticketholders can also seek a refund at point of purchase, according to the band's social media account. Tickets for the December 5 show in New Orleans, Dec Orlando, Florida and December 8 in Sunrise, Florida will be honored for the rescheduled dates; refunds are available as well. The Dead & Company performed Saturday (Dec. 2) at Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Friday (Dec. 1) at American Airlines Center in Dallas and Wednesday (Nov. 29) at Philips Arena in Atlanta.
