The mobile gaming sensation from past year, Pokemon Go, gets two major game updates.
Niantic is going to release a series of "Pokemon GO" updates starting this week.
A dynamic weather system will also be introduced with new weather effects.
The new weather system, though? Depending on the weather, you may come across different Pokemon, some may have increased combat power, and you can even earn additional in-game Stardust to spend on in-app purchases. If it is raining, water-type creatures will be more visible. In response to these concerns, Niantic has revealed that Pokemon trading is still in the cards, but there is still no timetable for when it will be added to the game.
Australia legalises same-sex marriage
Not all speeches backed gay marriage, however. "It's time for more marriages, more commitment, more love, more respect". Liberal senator Dean Smith's bill will now become law after a day of cheers, tears and applause in the Lower House.
Weather near players will impact Pokemon in a variety of ways and some attacks will be more effective during certain conditions. The most significant being the addition of new characters from the third generation of Pokemon games known as Ruby and Sapphire.
Though trading and PVP battles were still on the company's overall "to-do list", Bhargava pointed out that it might take a while before the features get added into the game since Niantic still has to properly investigate the feasibility of the features. According to reports, the Gen 3 Pokemon will be out in batches, according to their themes.
This move is to avoid letting "Pokemon GO" players catch them all at once. Although Niantic still has a lot of generations to work within the Pokemon universe, it can not introduce them all at the same time.
An in-game holiday event has also been confirmed, though details have yet to be released as of the time of this writing.
