Petition Filed Against Actor Vishal

Velusamy states that Vishal had appeared before him and had produced an audio clip that purportedly claimed that proposer Sumathy had been coerced by some persons to appear before him.

A senior Election Commission official said once nomination papers are rejected, the only recourse available to an affected candidate would be to file an election petition in the Madras High Court, challenging the Returning Officer's decision. "We will get full details later.it is a quasi judicial process", the official said. He went on to thank the Election Commission officials for doing the "right thing". "My nomination is accepted and I am contesting the RK Nagar by-polls", he told ANI. At this meeting, Vishal is believed to have told the returning officer that the reason these two people were backing out was because they had been threatened by supporters of AIADMK candidate Madhusudhanan.

Speaking to television channels, the actor said, "It is a mockery of democracy". "Because of a few hurdles, my nomination was kept under scrutiny but now it has been accepted". If something good has to happen, there will be obstacles.

Vishal, who is Nadigar Sangam's General Secretary and the President of the Tamil Film Producers Council, had taken many by surprise by announcing his political entry on Saturday. The person also threatened that it will be rejected even if I filed it.

In a tweet, the actor said, "After much struggle, my nomination for the RK Nagar election is finally accepted. Truth Always Triumphs! #JusticeServed#DemocracyPrevails".

Selena Gomez Makes Instagram Private After Ranting About Interview
Hopefully the singer will reveal why she set her account on private, but until then we'll have to wait and hope for the best. Unfortunately, we'll never know if our theories are right or not since so this is all fan speculation.

Earlier in the day, EC had rejected Vishal's nomination papers citing "discrepancies", in the papers in respect of signatures.

Objecting to the Returning Officer's "decision" a large number of AIADMK cadre assembled outside the office of the Returning Officer and demanded that the actor's papers be rejected.

"My nomination was rejected because two people who signed my affidavit as proposers told the authorities that their signatures were forged". The report further added that Jayakumar failed to fill the columns relating to the value of her assets as asked in the "Form 26I"-which is essentially an affidavit". They said my nomination might be rejected.

The last date for the withdrawal of the candidature is December 7.
