Superhot is getting a significant standalone expansion called Mind Control Delete, which will put a roguelike twist on the game.
"The game will force you through dozens of increasingly hard time-moves-only-when-you-move gameplay challenges", said the Superhot team.
The current Early Access build features two playable characters, both of which have their own ability and gameplay modifiers, as well as new animations, AI systems, and Superhot's first foray into procedural generation. The expansion promises to be "a rogue-like twist on the original SUPERHOT", in which ' The game will force you through dozens of increasingly hard time-moves-only-when-you-move gameplay challenges. Mind Control Delete will feature three new playable characters, new enemy types, improved AI, new weapons, a non-linear story, and plenty of new levels.

Also, like all Early Access games, Mind Control Delete isn't indicative of the final experience, and Superhot Team are quick to remind players of that: "The initial release will be quite awkward and unbalanced".
