Charlotte police fear 'emotional state' of mom who disappeared with 8-year-old daughter

This morning, Charlotte police say Stack went to an EMS station outside St. Louis and asked to be taken to a hospital to be evaluated.

Officials with United Airlines said they are working with authorities after someone reported a sex assault on a flight to Charlotte Tuesday night. According to police, Megan Lori Stack and her daughter, Ava, were missing since about 1:30 Monday afternoon.

Timothy Lybarger said Stack picked up their daughter, Ava, around 3:15 p.m. from Bain Elementary in Mint Hill and never returned home, WSOC reports.

Ava's father told NBC Charlotte she was last seen Monday at school.

Army unveils epic uniforms ahead of game vs. Navy
The font for the jerseys is modeled after the stencil used for bumper numbers on the division's M29C vehicles. Army-Navy kicks off this Saturday, and we finally know which uniforms the Black Knights will be wearing.

Police had said there was serious concern for their safety due to Megan Stack's emotional state and recent behavior.

Police shared the news on social media Wednesday. CMPD issued a Silver Alert for the mother since the Amber Alert request was denied.

"She's my world. She's everything to me".

On behalf of the Lybarger family, I would ask that everyone respect their privacy at this time as they recover after a hard couple of days.
