'Armed suspect' on Greyhound bus arrested after chase from Wisconsin into IL

Police surrounded a Greyhound bus after an incident involving a possible gunman on I-94 at Illinois Route 173, Illinois State Police confirmed Friday.

Authorities received a call for a disorderly and possibly armed person on a Greyhound bus on I-94 around 10 p.m., the release said. A man with a gun was reportedly on the bus, the Lake County sheriff's office said.

FOX40 sister station WGN-TV reports the pursuit crossed into IL and the bus eventually stopped near the exit ramp to Route 173.

A police pursuit of the bus began in Wisconsin after reports of an armed suspect on the bus.
