Call of Duty: WWII The Resistance Event Begins Soon

Sledgehammer Games and Activision are running a limited time community event in Call of Duty: WWII called The Resistance starting on January 23.

Called the "Resistance Event," players can expect new gear to obtain in Supply Drops, double XP days, and lots more!

The Resistance Event will take place in WWII from January 23 to February 27-and it'll feature a ton of free content. This Division, called Resistance, seems to be targeted at players who like to use pistols-the Division provides a pistol tactical knife and an extra attachment for your handgun.

Check out the trailer and some screens for the event below.

Beyond tweaks to weapons, the update also makes some changes to multiplayer maps, repositioning the Capture the Flag positions on the London Docks map and shifting the defensive starting spawn points for Search & Destroy matches on Sainte Marie du Mont.

Prop Hunt has been a fan-favorite mode in games like Garry's Mod and Team Fortress 2 for years. It's similar to hide-and-seek, where one team takes control of inanimate objects and attempts to blend in and avoid the hunting team.

In the most recent Call of Duty WW2 trailer these perks have been revealed.

In addition to Gun Game, which will be returning during The Resistance, players can enjoy two new Call of Duty: WWII game modes as well.

Sledgehammer Games has rolled out a fresh Call of Duty: WWII update for PS4, PC, and Xbox One players today, which tinkers with a number of weapon attributes for the critically acclaimed first-person shooter.

Finally, players can expect a free Resistance Supply Drop every week during the Resistance Event, just by logging in!
