Carrie Underwood reaches well outside of her country music comfort zone for her new song, "The Champion".

The pop-driven song includes lyrics like "I am invincible, unbreakable, unstoppable, unshakable/ They knock me down, I get up again / I am the champion". "The Champion" is also the ideal workout boost for all of us still trying to make good on those New Year's resolutions at the gym, too.

"When we were writing 'The Champion, ' our main focus was to celebrate athletes at the top of their game, but we also wanted the song to resonate with people in their everyday lives", Underwood said in a press release. Luda spells out the word champion in his verse, listing the attributes it takes to become one "The C is for the courage I possess through the trauma", he raps "H is for the hurt but it's all for the honor".

Following a brief teaser during an National Football League playoffs commercial last weekend (Jan. 7), Carrie Underwood shared a new anthemic jam "The Champion", which features rap veteran Ludacris.

U.S. citizens, senators slate Trump for his 'hate-filled, racist' comment
Aside from the Native Americans, who we treated, as Trump would say, "very badly", ALL of us came to America as immigrants . According to a New York Times article, he once said Haitian immigrants "all have AIDS" and that Nigerians live in "huts".

The music video was filmed a year ago, before Underwood's accident that resulted in over 40 facial stitches, and the song premiered online Friday.

Most surprising for Underwood fans, though, is that "The Champion" is completely stripped of 34-year-old's signature country sound. Ludacris' vocals are also featured in the song.

"I think it's going to become a sports anthem", NBC producer Fred Gaudelli told Variety.
