IT LOOKS like commentator Matt Chapman doesn't, ahem... rink much of this year's Dancing On Ice contestants, as he's has made a decision to skate off into the sunset after only one episode.

It's not one of the professional dancers or celebrity skaters but commentator Mark Chapman who has announced Sunday's show was both his first and last.

The late Tony Gubba and Simon Reed previously served as commentators on the show.

A spokesperson for the ice skating reality competition confirmed to the MailOnline that Matt had chose to quit, explaining: "We can confirm that Matt Chapman has left the show, and wish him all the very best and look forward to him reporting at ITV Racing at Warwick this weekend".

The shock news comes after Matt was met with an icy reception following his debut on Sunday, as fans blasted him on social media as "cringe" and "OTT". One even said he was "spoiling" the show for them.

Eagles find their wings, 15-10
Foles drove the Eagles into a field-goal range, where Elliott's 37-yard field goal gave the Eagles a 12-10 lead. While they kept the ball moving and helped build confidence for Foles, the biggest benefit was on the clock.

The stars rehearse all day on Sunday, which means they need to stay close by, so bosses put them up in hotel rooms for the night. And for those thinking: "Who the hell was that?"

Despite the negative reviews, Matt later insisted he was going to change the public's opinion, telling his followers: 'Hey people thanks for loads of kind comments @dancingonice.

The source spilled to The Sun: "Matt decided he couldn't make his diary quite work as he thought".

This year's show includes the likes of Cheryl Baker, Kem Cetinay, Max Evans, Lemar and Donna Air, with Candice Brown finding herself in the skate off after the first show.
