In Rambling Response, Trump Says It's 'Unlikely' He'd Sit For Mueller Interview

A new poll reveals 48 percent of American voters believe it's "very or somewhat likely" President Donald Trump will be cleared in the investigation into alleged collusion with Russian Federation during the 2016 presidential campaign.

While discussions are underway about President Donald Trump possibly speaking with special counsel Robert Mueller's team, FBI investigators have not so far requested an interview with Vice President Mike Pence, a person familiar with the matter said.

January 2018: In the case for obstruction of justice, Mueller's team received hand-written evidence from a top Trump cabinet member that substantiates Comey's claim of Trump's attempted interference in the Russian investigation. I can only say this: There was absolutely no collusion.

Trump's response Wednesday comes as his lawyers are discussing how they will respond to an interview request from Mueller, which the President's attorneys are anticipating.

"It seems unlikely you'd even have an interview", he said.

President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that the United States could "conceivably" return to the Paris climate accord, although he stopped short of signalling any move in that direction.

There has been growing speculation, however, that Mueller's investigation is increasingly focused on whether Trump, or others in the administration, attempted to impede the probe, rather than on collusion as such.

'It's racist': Haitians in Orlando react to President Trump's comment
Trump tweets: "Never said anything derogatory about Haitians other than Haiti is, obviously, a very poor and troubled country". In response to the reports, Trump tweeted that his language was "tough, but this was not the language used".

Talking to Norwegian journalists, Solberg has said that she will ask Trump to support Norway to get seat in the UN Security Council.

"Any solution has to include the wall because without the wall it all doesn't work", Trump said.

"I would be glad to tell him exactly what I just told you", Trump added during an event at the White House.

A day earlier, Feinstein, who faces a primary challenge in her re-election this year, released the transcript of the Senate Judiciary Committee's closed-door August interview with an official from the political opposition research firm Fusion GPS, which commissioned the dossier. I mean, certainly I'll see what happens. Trump incorrectly asserted that the Federal Bureau of Investigation agents interviewing Clinton didn't take notes - they did - and asserted "a lot of people looked upon that as being a very serious breach and it really was".

Trump is right that Clinton's Federal Bureau of Investigation interview was not done under oath.

Trump had said he fired FBI director James Comey a year ago in part because of his earlier investigation into Russian Federation and the 2016 election. But he added that it's still a crime to lie to the Federal Bureau of Investigation regardless of whether an oath was taken and that Federal Bureau of Investigation policy is not to record interviews.
