Is Trump's doctor OK? Others question President's 'excellent health'

Yeah. The US president's doctor has confirmed that he performed "exceedingly well" on a surprise cognitive screening test administered last week.

Trump's mental fitness for the job had come under intense scrutiny after a recently published, controversial book, "Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House", portrayed him as childlike and mercurial.

During a press briefing on Tuesday, Dr Jackson revealed he had encouraged Trump to exercise more and cut down on fatty foods.

"He has gone above and beyond to demonstrate his cognitive abilities", he said.

Asked how Trump could have such a good health report despite not exercising or having a good control of what he eats, Jackson commented: "It's called genetics".

"I've spent nearly every day in the president's presence since past year", Jackson said.

"I found no reason whatsoever to think that the President has any issues whatsoever with his thought process". Trump had responded by referring to himself as a "stable genius", and requested the cognitive exam.

In addition to being in excellent overall health, Trump scored 30 out of 30 on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment, according to White House doctor Ronny Jackson. Jackson answered a variety of questions from skeptical reporters during a press briefing and repeatedly stated that Trump was perfectly fine, with the exception of needing cholesterol medicine and being slightly overweight. "He has incredible genes I just assume", Jackson said. "I am the least racist person you have ever interviewed".

Person-to-person transmission happens when an infected person's feces from unwashed hands contaminates food during preparation. IDPH requested all Jimmy John's restaurants remove sprouts from their menus until the investigation is complete.

Trump also has no heart disease and no family history of it.

Still, Jackson said Trump acknowledged he'd be healthier if he lost a few pounds by exercising more and eating better.

Navy doctor Ronny Jackson, who administered Trump's first presidential physical last week, said Trump received a flawless score on a test created to detect early signs of memory loss and other mild cognitive impairment. "I see him nearly three times a day. He's more enthusiastic about the diet part than the exercise part, but we're going to do both".

When asked about Trump's slurred speech, Dr. Jackson said that him and his ENT consultants "checked everything out" and that they even did an ultrasound.

"This is math. This is based on the numbers that Dr. Jackson provided", Gupta said.

Jackson said Trump's resting heart rate was 68 and blood pressure was 122/74. He also takes aspirin for cardiac health, Propecia for hair loss, a multivitamin for overall health and uses a cream for rosacea, the doctor reported.

Ivana Trump, who was married to Donald Trump from 1977 to 1992, said the pair remain friends and she still talks to him on the phone, mostly about the kids and holidays.
