Alexis Sanchez's arrival is a big sign of sucess

Arsenal fans have lashed out at Thierry Henry, after Alexis Sanchez revealed the Frenchman's role in his move to Manchester United.

Mkhitaryan would be cup-tied for Arsenal's Carabao Cup semi-final second leg against Chelsea on Wednesday, though Sanchez would be available to feature in United's FA Cup fourth-round fixture with Yeovil on Friday, provided the deal is completed and he is registered as a United player before 12pm on Friday. "All we achieved and the good moments that I gave to the club, I want to dedicate it to the fans, they are the most important".

Former United player Ince believes the current attacking force at Old Trafford will be panicking about Sanchez's arrival as he will likely either take one of their spots or reduce their game time upon his arrival.

"The chance to play in this historic stadium (Old Trafford) and to work with (United manager) Jose Mourinho was something I could not turn down".

Mkhitaryan joined United for around £30 million in 2016 after three years at Borussia Dortmund.

Like with Rooney, there's something of the street footballer in Sanchez, who had humble beginnings - his mother, Martina, sold fish for a living and he used to play barefoot in a style that made him look like he "was dodging rocks".

Alexis Sanchez said he was thrilled to be joining Manchester United.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan officially becomes Arsenal player
A crack team of Jose Mourinho and Ed Woodward managed to persuade the Chilean that Old Trafford would be the place for him. And Mourinho insists Mkhitaryan's goal in the Europa League final over Ajax ensures he will never forgotten.

When he joined Manchester United 18 months ago, he was only hoping to use it as a stepping stone to Arsenal.

In all competitions, Sanchez has scored 80 goals and been involved in 121, more than any other Arsenal player since August 2014.

"I honestly can say that his behaviour is very good".

Sanchez's professional football career started out at Chilean side Cobreloa before getting his move to Europe with Serie A side Udinese - where he spent time on loan at Colo-Colo and River Plate.

However, United's financial clout saw them win the race for the Chile global, who put pen to paper on four-and-a-half-year deal at Old Trafford. He has openly expressed his love for Arsenal, saying their playing style attracts him and that he had always wanted to play for them.

The former Arsenal winger is baffled that the Gunners have allowed their greatest asset to run down his contract and move for a relative pittance.

This swap deal shows how ambitious Manchester United are and that they will do everything they can to win the Premier League as soon as possible - and also do harm in the Champions League - but it also shows Sanchez is up for the challenge.
