Environment Canada has put out a special weather statement saying a Colorado low will cross the Lower Great Lakes for the start of our work week. Freezing rain is expected Monday night (January 22) and into Tuesday (January23).
However, eastern regions of the Ottawa Valley could see freezing rain persist until Tuesday morning.
"Some freezing rain is also possible for Manitoulin and possibly the North Bay area".
A freezing rain warning will likely be issued as the system gets closer.

A special weather statement has been issued for Toronto, the GTA and most of southern Ontario. Much of it will be rain since temperatures will be above the freezing mark, but if temperatures dip, freezing rain may occur, making roads and sidewalks slippery. "As a result, incoming precipitation from the low will likely fall as freezing rain, especially Monday afternoon and potentially into the evening". The forecast is for an overnight low of -13 Celsius.
The rest of Midwestern Ontario is under a fog advisory for Sunday into Monday.
However, Environment Canada is suggesting the freezing rain may cause utility outages and have implications on the evening commute.
