Tiger Zinda Hai box office day 13 Salman Khan’s film will continue to perform well

The film minted Rs 11.50 crore, Rs 15 crore, Rs 22 crore, Rs 18 crore and Rs 7.50 crore approximately on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday of the second week, thus taking the total collection to Rs 280.04 crore approximately. According to experts if things get back to normal in Mumbai then the film would come back on track and continue to grow. And with a sequel to a film that received so much love in Ek Tha Tiger (2012), this was always going to aim for the highest.

However, majority of those records have been quashed by the Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer and that too in just 13 days flat. The movie is doing good business at box office and collected good bucks for the makers so far.

Not only for "Tiger Zinda Hai", Parvez has been Salman's body double even for "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo".

It's heartening to see medium budget content driven movies become superhits but Bollywood needs TZH to get the money flow intact or else it would be hard to mount big films. On its first day itself, it had earned Rs 34.10 crore and proceeded to mark the highest single-day earning of any Salman Khan movie on Sunday with Rs 45.53 crore. Interestingly, Katrina Kaif features in that film too along with Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan, hence reaffirming once again that when it comes to a biggie, she is the chosen one.

Whether Tiger Zinda Hai manages to reach the Rs 300 crore mark, remains to be seen. The action-spy-thriller is inching closer to Rs 300 crore club. TZH saw them reprise their roles of RAW and ISI agents Tiger and Zoya respectively.

Tiger Zinda Hai is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, who earlier directed Salman in Sultan, while the original was directed by Kabir Khan.

Tiger Zinda Hai brought together Katrina and Salman after five long years.
