RCMP say the woman who died in a crash near the airport on Highway 102 was a passenger in a auto that crossed the median.
The driver was taken to an area hospital by ground ambulance and the passenger was taken to the Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary via STARS air ambulance.
There were two occupants in the southbound vehicle and both the driver and passenger were taken to hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries.
The 19-year-old male driver, and lone occupant of the northbound vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
