According to a new report from CNET, Whirlpool says its new smart appliances are made for the family, and is designed "to get dinner on the table faster", while at the same time cutting down the amount of time spent on household tasks.
Whirlpool has announced that it will roll about the ability for Apple Watch users to control its ovens, washers, dryers, and other connected appliances in early 2018. Even the Smart Energy Star Certified Dishwasher can talk to your Nest devices and hold the washing cycle until you've left for work. (NYSE:WHR) announced Monday that it is integrating its home appliances brands with Apple Inc.'s (NASDAQ:AAPL) Apple Watch. Amazon Virtual Dash can restock connected refrigerators, while the Smart All-in-One Washer and Dryer can send laundry alerts to your Apple Watch. The app lets users find recipes suited to their tastes and cooking talents, limiting results to those without a despised ingredient or that will take less than half an hour to make.

The home appliance company has not given any details on the prices but the event is just getting started, so there might be more information in the next few days.
