The city of Denver is among five finalists to host the 2019 or 2020 NFL draft, the league announced Thursday.

The Browns in conjunction with the Pro Football Hall of Fame and Greater Cleveland Sports Commission announced their bid in August to host the draft. And the area is big in the history of football - not only is it home to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, the American Professional Football Association, a precursor to the NFL, was born in Canton in 1920.
After being held in New York City for 50 years, the National Football League made a decision to take the draft on the road in 2015, with Chicago holding the event in 2015 and 2016.
