Asus ZenFone 5 Max spotted on Geekbench with Snapdragon 660

Asus Zen Fone 4 Android 8.0 Oreo Update Now Rolling Out

Asus ZenFone 5 Max spotted on Geekbench with Snapdragon 660

The company has announced these new phones in Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona, Spain last month.

The ZenFone 4 Pro (ZS551KL) is now receiving its own sweet 8.0 package OTA, with various power consumption improvements, important launcher changes and a "more friendly setting UI design" included in addition to all your typical Oreo upgrades, performance enhancements and interface revisions. The listing reveals a lot about the smartphone's features and specifications.

The reason why Zenfone 5 Max passed the Geekbench processor tests with flying colors is because it's powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 660 CPU. It is also rumoured to come with 64GB internal storage and some reports also suggest that Asus might be tempted to place a notch on top of the Asus Zenfone 5 Max display which could be similar to the iPhone X in terms of looks. The company was also expected to showcase the Zenfone 5 Max variant of the smartphone range at the event, which it never did.

The Geekbench scorecard doesn't reveal much other meaningful information about the Zenfone 5 Max, but we bet more leaks are on the way to fill us in.

According to past rumours, Asus Zenfone 5 Max could feature a 5.7-inch Full HD+ screen with 18.9 aspect ratio. The company released the Oreo update for ZenFone 4 in December a year ago and for the ZenFone 3 in January. It could also be equipped with a 3.5mm AudioJack. So we are unable to list it down here at this moment. Not many details have been leaked regarding the device, however, we are expecting it to soon be available in the market.
