Case Keenum reportedly plans to sign with the Broncos

In doing so, it triggers the last two years of his deal. Of the teams thought to be shopping for a starting quarterback in free agency, all but one appeared to have a deal in place for Wednesday.

Keenum went on to go undrafted in the draft that year before signing with the Houston Texans (and then-coach Gary Kubiak) as a college free agent. Keenum and the Vikings earned the No. 2 seed and advanced to the NFC Championship following a last-second touchdown pass from Keenum to Stefon Diggs in an NFC Divisional Round game against the Saints.

While technically eligible to be part of the free-agent quarterback class, Drew Brees was never thought to be leaving New Orleans, where he's been a 10-time Pro Bowler and is closing in on the National Football League record for career passing yards.

This move stirs the pot even more for the Vikings to land a big-name quarterback like Kirk Cousins or even a Hail Mary attempt in Drew Brees.

Marqise Lee re-signing with Jaguars
Moncrief, a third-round pick of the Colts in 2014, appeared in 53 games with 27 starts over his past four seasons. His best season in Indianapolis came in 2015 where he had 64 receptions for 733 yards and six touchdowns.

The Vikings, who were subsequently blown out at Philadelphia in the conference championship, chose to let all three of their QBs — Keenum, Bradford and Teddy Bridgewater — test free agency.

Now, it's Teddy Bridgewater's time. He took over after Sam Bradford suffered a knee injury in the opener and started all but one game the rest of the season.

With the Broncos, Vikings, Cardinals and Jets apparently no longer looking for a No. 1 quarterback, the Buffalo Bills appeared to be the only team in the market for a starter. Even better is the fact that he hasn't missed a game in six seasons. Now, Elway hopes another free agent will replicate Manning.
