Jimmy Kimmel Exposes Possibly Illegal Trump Merchandise

Jimmy Kimmel finds the punch lines in Trump's first presidential visit to California

Jimmy Kimmel had plenty to say about Donald Trump's first visit to California as president

Jimmy Kimmel went on a late-night shopping spree on Donald Trump's family website, TrumpStore.com, but he didn't do it to financially support POTUS.

Noting that President Trump wanted to focus on American-made products, Kimmel checked out the labels on Trump-branded items such as a golf hat, a coffee mug, a baby bib, and more.

"Surprising, Trump hasn't tweeted about the subpoena yet, probably because he doesn't know how to spell the word 'subpoena, ' but there are rumors that he may try to fire Robert Mueller, the guy who's investigating him", he quipped.

Joking that the Trump family takes the "American thing very seriously", Kimmel expected to find that the merchandise from the American-bred store would feature all-American made products.

U.S. President Donald Trump speaks about the shootings in Alexandria, Virginia, from the White House in Washington, U.S., June 14, 2017. He wanted to see how seriously the Trump family was taking the "America first" challenge Donald Trump has made to American companies, demanding more companies begin making merchandise in the U.S. again.

President Trump promised to revive American manufacturing during the 2016 campaign and is in the process of implementing tariffs on some foreign-made goods.

As Kimmel goes through his purchases, he discovers that all of the items available on the online store are made overseas.

"This could be very expensive, not to mention, this has got to be embarrassing", Kimmel said. "Trump's whole platform is about supporting companies, his company isn't even supporting America". "I'll just file an official complaint and let them sort it all out", Kimmel stated.

Kimmel is not the first late night host to poke fun at the Trump Organization making products overseas.
