Porn star seeks Donald Trump's answers under oath

Basta Stormy Daniel's lawyer didn't break a sweat as he ran across New York City's Fifth Avenue on Saturday a day before his client is to appear on 60 Minutes

Porn star seeks Donald Trump's answers under oath

Porn actress Stormy Daniels talked about her alleged relationship with US President Donald Trump.

A federal judge has rejected adult film star Stormy Daniels' request for permission to question Donald Trump and schedule a trial soon in her lawsuit to end her agreement to remain silent about her alleged sexual encounter with the USA president.

In a statement, Stormy Daniels' attorney, Michael Avenatti, declared, "We expect to be placing the President and his fixer under oath in the coming months".

Mr Trump has kept a low profile all week, as has first lady Melania Trump, who is spending the week in Florida.

Avenatti said in the motion that he would need no more than two hours to question each of the men.

Otero ruled that because Cohen's and Trump's petition requesting arbitration in the case had not yet been filed, it would be premature for him to grant Daniels' requests for a quick trial and limited discovery in the case.

Attorneys for a former contestant on one of Mr Trump's "Apprentice" reality TV shows say they want to depose the President as part of a defamation suit. But special counsel Robert Mueller has broad investigative authority, and Cohen has been linked to other aspects of the investigation, including efforts in 2015 to pursue a Trump Tower real estate development in Moscow.

Avenatti also asked for a court order to depose the President's personal attorney, Michael D. Cohen, who has said he made the $130,000 payment to Stormy Daniels with his own funds and without Mr. Trump's knowledge.

Avenatti has argued that the non-disclosure agreement is invalid as it was never signed by Trump.

Dawson's Creek Cast: Then and Now
OK, so the Dawson's Creek reunion made our mind reel with every possible what-if. "I was a Dawson/Joey diehard", says Williamson. I think Dawson became Spielberg, all his dreams came true. "I think he fell apart".

"And we're confident that when we get to the bottom of this, we're going to prove to the American people that they have been told a bucket of lies".

The interview prompted a flurry of new legal action, with a lawyer for Cohen demanding that Daniels publicly apologize to his client for suggesting Cohen was involved in her intimidation.

Avenatti tweeted Wednesday morning that the filing will be heard on April 30.

He has not been seen in public since Daniels gave a blockbuster interview detailing her story on Sunday, an unusually long time for any modern United States president.

First, it offers more fodder for the depiction of Trump as sexual predator and creep particularly the detail that Daniels allegedly spanked him with a magazine featuring him on the cover.

White House press officials have repeatedly said Trump denies having unprotected sex with Daniels in 2006 although the president himself has remained uncharacteristically silent, holding no public appearances for a fifth straight day Wednesday. Jones' case was dismissed by a judge and then appealed. He did not admit wrongdoing.

Avenatti responded that Daniels' account of being threatened to keep quiet about the affair represents a "big, big accusation" and a "critical" fact.

Daniels is not the only woman accusing Trump. It paid her $150,000 during the 2016 presidential election and did not publish a story on her relationship with Trump.
