SoulCalibur IV Geralt Gameplay Clip Confirms The Witcher Crossover

After a week of speculation, Bandai Namco and CD Projekt Red have confirmed that Geralt of Rivia will appear as a guest character in Soulcalibur 6.

The Soul Calibur series famously started the guest character trend back in 2003 with the inclusion of Heihachi Mishima, Spawn, and Link in Soul Calibur II. Also awesome, is that this collaboration between CD Project RED and Bandai Namco means that the dev team used The Witcher 3 assets to bring Geralt into the fighting universe. Geralt will also have his own unique stage, set at Kaer Morhen.

You can read your opponents attacks and try to land a strategic Reversal Edge to land a counter attack while you are defending.

Taking place in the 16th century, revisit the events of the original SOULCALIBUR to uncover hidden truths with a diverse lineup of new and returning characters with their unique fighting styles including series mainstays; Mitsurugi and Sophitia.

No.5 Kentucky holds off No. 12 Davidson
Jon Axel Gudmundsson: What a comeback for the Davidson sophomore - particularly from 3-point range - in the second half. It was impressive to see Kentucky hold on to win this one despite not making a three-point basket the entire game.

The rumors were true: Geralt of Rivia is coming to Soul Calibur VI, and he looks awesome. Players who choose to fight as Geralt will utilize the witcher's signature fighting style - a combination of swordplay, ability-enhancing potions, and combat magic. Accompanying players in battle will be "Hunt or be Hunted" - an iconic composition from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt soundtrack.

Marcin Momot, Community Lead at Cd Projekt Red, explained the process to make this crossover possible. Said SoulCalibur producer, Motohiro Okubo.

Soul Calibur VI doesn't have a final release date just yet, but the game is announced for 2018.

Today, Soulcalibur's official Twitter feed said: "A legendary warrior enters the stage of history".
