Verizon LG V30 Android 8.0 Oreo Update Released

Sony India on Thursday announced the rollout of the latest Android 8.0 Oreo software update for its mid-range Xperia R1 and Xperia R1 Plus smartphones. The model has just started getting the latest Android version, 8.0 Oreo on March 9, 2018. The software update is 1.7 GB. Air Canada experiencing nationwide system outage
The glitch led to long delays at YVR for passengers who either had to wait a long time or weren't able to board their flights. In Toronto and elsewhere in Canada, the system issues came as travellers were heading out of town for March break.

A report by FoneArena has also claimed that the Xperia R1 duo will receive features like Xperia Actions, which is an AI-based service that can suggest actions based on interaction with games on the smartphone. The Android 8.0 Oreo update has the build number as S001011_180422.

The new update brings a host of new features like Picture-in-Picture mode that enables a user to perform two tasks at the same time. Android Oreo has other features like including Background limits, installation of apps via APK, over 60 new emojis, notification dots, Wide-gamut colour for apps, Snoozing individual notification, Adaptive icons, Keyboard navigation, WebView enhancements and much more. They both packed similar features, but the difference is in the storage and RAM options. The dual SIM handsets now run Android Oreo, and sport 5.2-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) TFT displays. While the Xperia R1 features 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage, the Xperia R1 Plus comes equipped with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. Under the hood, both of them are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor. There is a 2620mAh battery backing internals on both the phones.
