Yes, you heard us right, no, this is not a joke, and yes, this is actually happening.
With Sea of Thieves sailing ever closer to release, Xbox have started a treasure hunt, giving us the chance to uncover Golden Bananas worth £20,000.
The Quest kicks off at 12:00 AM PT / 08:00 GMT / 19:00 AEDT, Monday, March 19 with a riddle being released every few hours and continues over the course of three days as you and your crew attempt to solve a total of 15 riddles. The quest will end on the 21th of March at 1:00 AM PST. And now, Microsoft has launched a rather unusual competition to mark the arrival of the title with "The Quest for the Golden Bananas", challenging players with a series of riddles to solve, with the ultimate prize of four hallmarked 18-carat gold bananas up for grabs. Teams will have seven hours to submit their answers.
Deadly explosion in Austin kills teen, injures woman
A Capital Metro bus driver tells CBS Austin's Melanie Barden that people living nearby were evacuated and had to wait on a bus. Anthony Stephan House, 39, was killed on March 2 when a package blew up at his home just 11 miles away from Monday's incident.
The fastest and most accurate answers submitted will be put through to the grand final which will take place on 22 and 23 March (timezone dependent) and will award the golden bananas to one lucky crew. Other prizes will also be dished out along the way. As stated in the announcement, "should you find yourself marooned elsewhere, these clues will also be scattered digitally as well".
If you're in the treasure hunting mood and want to participate, you can enter via xbox.com/thebananaquest.
Now that the final beta for Sea of Thieves has closed, fans (many of whom just had their first taste of the game) will be waiting until March 20 until they can play the game again. It will be available for Xbox One, PC, and via Xbox Game Pass.
