Beyoncé Becomes First Black Female to Headline Coachella

The pregnant NY star was a burst of energy during her Sunday Coachella performance which also saw appearances from YG, G-Eazy, Chance The Rapper, 21 Savage and Kehlani (no Offset sighting, surprisingly, given his set with the Migos wasn't too long after). During her epic two-hour set, the mother of three performed a total of 26 songs, rocked several Balmain outfits, and made the night extra special by bringing out Williams and Rowland for a long-awaited reunion concert.

She reunited with Destiny's Child and went on a dance break with Solange wearing a sparkly camouflage bodysuit paired with matching boots.

While Beyonce did keep her fans waiting, it's interesting to know that the singer is the first black woman to perform at the festival.

Simply put, Beyoncé made history once again as the first Black female headliner, and she may have put on Coachella's best performance of all time in the process.

She was slated to headline the California festival a year ago, but had to cancel after her doctor recommended she limit activity during the end of her pregnancy with twins Rumi and Sir Carter.
