For the fourth time this season, a Detroit Tigers game has been postponed because of inclement weather.

The Yankees beat the Tigers 8-6 on Friday in the first game of their three-game series. All tickets from Saturday's contest that was rained out will be valid on Sunday night, while tickets from Sunday's cancellation can be used on the to-be-determined make-up date. This decision coincides with this year's baseball calendar schedule including four extra days off for teams.

Tomorrow, the Lugnuts will host the Whitecaps for a doubleheader with first pitch at 1:05 p.m. Both games will be televised on FOX Sports Detroit.

Saturday's game against the New York Yankees at Comerica Park was postponed because of heavy rains that are expected to stay in the area throughout the day. A total of 10 games this weekend (including six on Sunday) have been postponed due to the weather.
