It looks like Warner lining up their next superhero movie.

Deadline is reporting that Cathy Han may be directing the planned Harley Quinn movie over at Warner Brothers. If the deal is completed, she will join Patty Jenkins as the second female superhero director in Warner's family, and the first Asian female tapped to direct a superhero film.

Dead Pigs won the World Cinema Dramatic Award For Ensemble Acting at Sundance last January and Robbie was keen to bag a female director for Birds Of Prey. Despite being a new talent, Yan's presentation for Birds of Prey was exceptional, and Robbie held firm to her desire for this film to be directed by a woman.

He added: "I don't know whether any of this true, but this is what he said ". "It's possible", Comey said. Stephanopoulos also asked Comey whether Congress should take legal action against Trump.

Birds of Prey will be the next film to feature Margot Robbie in the role of Harley Quinn. The script was written by Christina Hodson, who just got hired to write the "Batgirl" movie.

The movie follows the "Birds of Prey" comic book storyline, which teams up Harley Quinn with fellow female crimefighters Batgirl aka Barbara Gordon, Black Canary, and Huntress. She is negotiating to star alongside Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt in the Quentin Tarantino-directed film for Sony Pictures. Beyond that, she's mostly worked on short films as a producer and writer.

Warner Bros. knew Harley Quinn was a breakout character from Suicide Squad, and it's interesting to see that they've chose to go with Birds of Prey over Suicide Squad 2, Gotham City Sirens, or a Harley & Joker movie.
