Donovan Mitchell Will Play in Game 2

Mitchell suffered a foot injury in the first half of Game 1 against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday when Corey Brewer stepped on his left foot.

Mitchell had an MRI on his left foot that came back negative as well, according to ESPN's Chris Haynes, who added he's going to play in Game 2 Wednesday. After about a minute he was subbed off again as he was visibly in pain as he ran back on defense after burying a jumper.

Addressing reporters afterwards, Mitchell downplayed concerns about the injury and said that it was just a stubbed toe.

One of the more interesting teased content updates , however, has got to be the increased player cap of the usual 100-man lobby. Certainly we would love to try and be in that sort of space, but there's a lot of problems trying to get there.

Mitchell, 21, went down in the third quarter but later returned to the game.

The best-of-seven series continues with Game 2 on Wednesday in Oklahoma City. Mitchell finished Game 1 with 27 points and 10 rebounds in the 116-108 loss. "I'm sure he'll undergo further imaging, and we'll update that tomorrow".

George says this is the level at which he plans to hoop for the remainder of the playoffs.
