H&M announce MOSCHINO collaboration

Street style at Weekend 1 of the 2018 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio California on Friday April 14th


Jeremy Scott, the creative director of Moschino, will be the mastermind behind the haute couture collaboration.

H&M have announced their upcoming collaboration with designer brand Moschino after the success of their previous collections with Balmain, Stella McCartney and Erdem. In an Instagram, Scott shared a photo of himself and muse Gigi Hadid wearing looks from the new line at a Coachella party celebrating the announcement.

The collection stands to be a merge of the affordable fashion H&M shoppers have grown to expect, along with the trendy (and sometimes a bit bonkers) fashion Moschino is loved for.

On the collab, Jeremy says, "I am so excited about MOSCHINO [tv] H&M".

"I want to reach an even more global audience at a reasonable price", says Scott in a new interview in H&M magazine.

H&M;'s creative advisor, Ann-Sofie Johansson, said that the partnership is "the flawless collaboration for fashion right now" and mixes "pop, street culture, logos and also glamor".

The collection, MOSCHINO [tv] H&M, will be available online and in select H&M stores worldwide from 8th November. H&M says that the campaign will bridge traditional and social media with "a multi-platform takeover".

And the award for the most starry Coachella party so far goes to (drum roll) L.A. -based fashion designer Jeremy Scott's annual Moschino Desert Party that got underway in the wee hours after midnight Sunday, April 15, following Beyonce's two-hour headlining set that rocked the festival's world.

The tie-up is said to revolve around a "TV concept", with the collection ranging womenswear, menswear, accessories and, "a few extra suprises", to be named Moschino [tv] H&M.
