Saber Interactive officially announces NBA Playgrounds 2, coming in 2018

The Switch is going to hoop it up around the world in 2018.

And now, Saber Interactive has officially announced NBA Playgrounds 2, coming to PC, PS4, Switch and Xbox One.

NBA Playgrounds 2 continues to feature the sport's biggest players front and center. We'll make sure to report back with more information as soon as it's made available.

This includes the return of three-point contests, custom matches and more, as well as a massive roster of current and retired National Basketball Association players including Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, James Harden, Kyrie Irving, LeBron James, Russell Westbrook, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Anthony Davis, DeMar DeRozan, Damian Lillard, Karl-Anthony Towns, Shaquille O'Neal, Magic Johnson, Dr. J., Allen Iverson and Larry Bird.

The Cambridge Police Department responded to a 911 call that a woman saw a man take off his clothes and throw them at her. The original unedited video, shot by an onlooker and later released by police, is more than seven minutes long.

This sequel, which will release on all the same platforms as the original, is poised to improve on the formula established in the first game with a couple new features.

You can check out some screenshots and the game's reveal trailer below. Season mode is also a new single-player experience that allows players to lead a team through the regular season, playoffs, and ultimately compete for an NBA Championship.

The new game promises better player animations and a spanking new tournament mode among other things. The mode is a worldwide online league consisting of several different divisions. "We also listened to community feedback and have added four-player online games where you can have each player be a human player online or any combination of human and AI opponents".
