Rangasthalam has already crossed the records of Srimanthudu and Khaidi No 150 to become the third all-time highest grossing Telugu film.
The Ram Charan starrer has collected approximately Rs 13 crore gross at the worldwide box office in its third weekend, taking its 17-day total collection to Rs 178 crore gross. It is the third highest grossing Telugu film after Baahubali. With the worldwide theatrical rights valued at Rs 80 crore and worldwide cumulative share standing at Rs 107 crore, the Mythri Movie Makers production has become the first South Indian blockbuster of 2018 which is crippled by a two-month-long no-show from Tamil cinema.
SS Rajamouli's Baahubali: The Beginning went on to gross Rs 650 crore worldwide, a record that was broken by its sequel, Baahubali: The Conclusion. Besides recovering their investments, the movie has earned them a profit share of Rs 32 crore. The second film in the Baahubali series earned over Rs 1700 crore at the box office worldwide.
